Welcome to the Brayton Parish Council Website
Brayton Parish Council has twelve Members and exists to help Residents and be a point of contact for your ideas and suggestions for improvements in the Parish.
The Council prepares an annual budget and raises money (shown as part of the council tax) which it uses towards the upkeep of the Parish and is responsible for the Village Green, Bus Shelters, Grass Cutting and Playfields.
We work with Selby District Council and North Yorkshire County Council on matters such as Roads, Footpaths, Planning Applications, Litter Bins and Street Cleansing.
The Parish Council meet on the first Thursday of every month.
Meetings start at 7.00pm and are held at St Wilfrids Church Hall.
All residents are very welcome to attend.
