Welcome to the Brayton Parish Council Website

Brayton Parish Council has twelve Members and exists to help Residents and be a point of contact for your ideas and suggestions for improvements in the Parish.


The Council prepares an annual budget and raises money (shown as part of the council tax) which it uses towards the upkeep of the Parish and is responsible for the Village Green, Bus Shelters, Grass Cutting and Playfields.

We work with Selby District Council and North Yorkshire County Council on matters such as Roads, Footpaths, Planning Applications, Litter Bins and Street Cleansing.

The Parish Council meet on the first Thursday of every month.

(Except August)


Meetings start at 7.00pm and are held at St Wilfrids Church Hall.
All residents are very welcome to attend.

February 5th - March 5th - April 2nd

May 7th - June 4th - July 2nd

September 3rd - October 1st

November 5th - December 3rd
